Advanced Facilitation Workshop

Coming Soon
Models Covered: CenteringPregnancy, CenteringParenting, CenteringHealthcare

The Advanced Facilitation Workshop is your opportunity to join a small group of seasoned Centering facilitators for an interactive learning experience. This workshop will help you bring your facilitation skills to the next level! You’ll explore new facilitative approaches to addressing difficult topics, conversations, and other group challenges, drawing on your own experiences with group facilitation.

You’ll be prompted to try new openings, activities, mindfulness activities and closings. There will also be space to identify and develop strategies for addressing specific challenges in your CenteringPregnancy, CenteringParenting and/or CenteringHealthcare groups.

A health equity lens is woven throughout the Advanced Facilitation workshop. You'll benefit from the wisdom and experiences of other experienced workshop participants and explore strategies for enhancing your co-facilitation approach.

The workshop can be virtual (two four-hour sessions over two days) or in person (full, eight-hour day). The virtual workshop was created as an accessible alternative to in-person training. This means no travel and less time away from your clinic.

For virtual attendees, each participant MUST attend from their own computer (laptop or tablet) with both audio and video capability. Please note that the participants must attend all of the sessions to successfully complete this workshop.
